The Functional Forms™ Sidelyer Package comes in three sizes for children and adults up to 250 pounds. Sidelyers can help to relax the body, make joints more flexible, decrease spasticity and primitive reflex patterns, and improve head movement. Elevated sidelying may be good for eating, visual activities, and general care giving.
Made of anti-bacterial/anti-fungal, water resistant, breathable nylon that is made specifically for health care applications and is easy to wipe clean with neutral soap suds and lukewarm water. Then rinse and dry. Soft, washable anti-slip surface on bottom. Cover and cushions meet CAL 117 fire regulations. No latex. Also available in soft vinyl, please call for more information.

This package includes the following functional forms:
♦ Sidelyer 
The Functional Forms Sidelyer is designed to help improve body alignment, reduce pressure and facilitate regulatory functions. Promotes proper head and mouth use.
♦ Sidelyer Strap 
The Functional Forms Sidelyer Strap features adjustable straps that are attached to a cushioned pad in order to support the hip and low back in a sidelying position.
♦ Head Support Pads 
Head Supports are often times used to complete the needed support while holding a person in quadruped on forearms position or in the prone position.
♦ L - Shaped Head Support Pad 
L-Shaped Head supports are typically used in various therapeutic side-lying activities and are shaped to help prevent hyper-extension of the users head. The firm support helps prevent obstructions of the nose and mouth.
♦ Sidelyer Legs
Height Adjustable Sidelyer Legs are included for sidelying from 0º to 10º. When an additional set of Sidelyer Legs is purchased, elevated sidelying is possible at bedside height. Legs fold flat for storage.
